Who makes Acavya, and why?

What is our mission?

To remove the paperwork from running a school, a coaching centre or a tutoring practice so that people can spend their time on teaching, care and judgement. We started with India, which has about 14.7 lakh schools, most of them small, and a large parallel coaching market. Small institutes need software that is simple, affordable and honest, whatever board or curriculum they follow: CBSE, ICSE, a state board, IB, Cambridge or their own.

How do we work?

• Founder-led. The founder reviews every release and talks to institutes directly, in Hindi and English.
• Build with institutes. Our design-partner programme gives institutes a real say in what we build next.
• India first, open to all. Indian rupees, lakh and crore, IST, Hindi, low-end phones, power cuts and Indian rules are the starting point, not an afterthought. Institutes outside India can use Acavya in English today, with fees in Indian rupees and times in Indian Standard Time.
• Clear storage information. Azure is used for the database; private Cloudflare R2 is selected for documents, without an India-only file storage guarantee. See security and privacy.
• Transparent pricing. A flat price by size or pay as you go per student, every feature, no add-on modules, free for tutors, and messaging at cost plus a capped handling fee. See pricing.
• Honest claims. No invented customers, ratings or numbers. If something is not built yet, we say so on the page.

Where are we today?

Acavya is live. Every module is available now and you can sign up and set up your own institute yourself. The few items that are not built yet are marked “Planned” on their feature pages, without dates.
