Can I get a refund for my Acavya subscription?
The 30-day trial is free so you can decide before paying, and this policy sets out when a paid subscription or wallet balance can be refunded.
Last reviewed:
This policy is about refunds of what you pay Acavya for the software. It is separate from refunds of fees that an institute collects from students; those follow the institute’s own policy and the law that applies to it.
What does the trial cost?
Nothing. In the 30-day full trial you set up your own institute, and an optional sample setup is available to explore. Moving to a paid plan needs payment, and unconverted trial data is deleted 60 days after the trial ends.
Can I get a refund on an annual plan?
- If you are not satisfied soon after paying, you can ask for a refund within 7 days of your first payment.
- After that window, annual fees are not refundable for the part already used. Where we materially fail to provide the Service, we will refund the unused period.
- If you move to a larger plan during a term you pay the prorated difference. Moving to a smaller plan happens at renewal and does not reduce what was already billed for the term.
What about monthly plans?
Monthly plans can be stopped at any time and are not billed again. The month in progress is not refunded unless we failed to provide the Service.
What about the wallet balance?
Unused prepaid wallet balance can be refunded on request when you leave, less the payment gateway charges, at cost. Amounts already spent on messages or live classes are not refundable.
What about GST?
Refunds include the GST charged on the refunded amount and are accompanied by a credit note.
How do I ask for a refund?
Write to us using the details on the contact page with your institute name and invoice number. We aim to answer within 7 working days and refund to the original payment method.
