Can Acavya produce the CBSE Holistic Progress Card?

Acavya produces the Holistic Progress Card for each PARAKH stage by collecting self, peer, teacher and parent inputs in forms, building competency levels from your rule pack, drafting narrative remarks for the teacher to approve and publishing a bilingual PDF with QR verification.

Who is it for, and what hurts today?

  • Class teacher: narrative remarks and competency levels for every child on top of marks, with no time left to observe.
  • Pre-primary teacher: photos and voice notes lie in a phone gallery instead of a portfolio. With consent, they can feed the foundational-stage card.
  • Principal: the HPC format and level names have changed across sources, and a wrong template is embarrassing in an inspection.
  • Parent: a card that tells them what their child can do, in a language they read.

What can it do?

  • Available now: Templates for each PARAKH stage: foundational, preparatory, middle and secondary.
  • Available now: Input forms in the app for the student, a peer, the teacher and the parent.
  • Available now: Competency level names that come from the rule pack, so you can follow the official PARAKH template. Sources differ (for example Beginner, Proficient and Advanced, shown as Stream, Mountain and Sky at the foundational stage, versus Beginner, Progressing and Proficient), and the pack is marked to verify against the official templates.
  • Available now: A bilingual PDF with QR verification and bulk publishing to parents through the app and WhatsApp.
  • Available now: The curriculum map includes NCF competencies and the CBSE Computational Thinking and AI strands for Classes 3 to 8.
  • Available now: Photo and voice-note capture on a teacher phone that feeds the portfolio, shared with parents only according to consent.

What does the AI do here, and who approves it?

  • HPC narratives are drafted from attendance, marks trends and teacher observations, with a tone and bias check that rejects stereotyped language. The class teacher edits and approves each draft before a parent sees it.

How does it work?

Can Acavya produce the CBSE Holistic Progress Card?

  1. Pick the stage template

Select the PARAKH stage and confirm the level names in the rule pack.

  2. Collect inputs

Send the student, peer and parent forms and add the teacher observations.

  3. Review drafts

Edit the AI draft narrative for each child and approve it.

  4. Publish

Create the bilingual PDFs in bulk and send them to parents.

Does it work in Hindi, offline and on WhatsApp?

  • The card prints bilingually, and parent forms are shown in Hindi or English.
  • Photos are shared only per the consent level recorded for each child.
  • Forms work on a phone browser, so parents need no new app.

What can it not do?

  • We do not claim the template is the final official one: level names differ across sources and the rule pack is marked verify until compared with the official PARAKH templates.
  • AI never publishes a remark without a teacher approving it.
  • The HPC is not a substitute for observing the child; it records what you observe.

Is this the official CBSE HPC?

It follows the PARAKH stage structure and keeps level names in an editable rule pack that must be checked against the official templates for your board.

Who writes the narrative?

AI drafts it from your data and the teacher edits and approves it. Nothing goes to a parent without approval.

Can parents contribute?

Yes. The parent input form is part of the HPC data collection.
