Does Acavya have a question bank and a question-paper generator?
Acavya keeps a tagged question bank with mathematics in LaTeX in Hindi and English, builds papers from a blueprint of chapters, marks and difficulty with sets and an answer key, and lays out worksheets and DPPs as PDF or online practice, with AI drafting and a person approving.
Last reviewed:
Who is it for, and what hurts today?
- Subject teacher: papers typed in Word, Hindi in Kruti Dev, and no record of which questions were used before.
- Test coordinator and faculty: DPPs and papers built by hand and mathematics that breaks when pasted.
- Content creator or DTP operator: retyping printed books into LaTeX and translating between English and Hindi.
- Coaching owner: content that walks out of the door with a faculty member.
What can it do?
- Available now: Question types: MCQ, multiple-select, numeric or integer, subjective, match, assertion-reason and case-based.
- Available now: Content in Markdown with LaTeX (KaTeX), images, Hindi and English text and solutions.
- Available now: Tags for chapter, topic, difficulty, Bloom level, competency, source and year.
- Available now: Import from Word or PDF with AI OCR to LaTeX that a person reviews, and a Kruti Dev to Unicode conversion.
- Available now: A worksheet and DPP builder: pick questions, lay them out and export a PDF or publish for online practice.
- Available now: A paper generator from a blueprint (chapters by marks by difficulty by competency percentage) with sets A, B and C, an answer key and a marking scheme.
- Available now: Printed test booklets with sets A, B, C and D.
What does the AI do here, and who approves it?
- Question-paper generation from a blueprint with sets, key and scheme, in LaTeX and bilingual; approval by the coordinator is required before use.
- Question tagging by chapter, topic, Bloom level and difficulty with duplicate detection, and a spot-check queue.
- Printed mathematics to LaTeX OCR and English to Hindi translation of the bank, always proofread by a person.
- Worksheet levelling into easy, medium and hard.
How does it work?
Does Acavya have a question bank and a question-paper generator?
Fill the bank
Import from Word or PDF, review the OCR, and let AI suggest tags.
Define a blueprint
Set the chapters, marks, difficulty and competency split.
Generate and edit
AI proposes a paper and sets; you swap questions and approve.
Use
Print the PDF, publish online or send it to the test engine.
Does it work in Hindi, offline and on WhatsApp?
- Hindi and English questions with proper Devanagari, and bilingual papers.
- The generated PDF is watermarked and can go to print on any printer.
- The bank is yours and can be exported with the rest of your data.
What can it not do?
- OCR can misread diagrams and symbols, so every imported question needs a human review.
- AI solutions can be wrong, so faculty should verify them, and maths quality is checked by our own evaluation set rather than assumed.
- Questions you do not own the rights to should not be uploaded; Acavya does not supply copyrighted question banks.
Can I generate a paper with sets A and B?
Yes, from a blueprint, with an answer key and marking scheme. A coordinator approves before use.
Does it support LaTeX?
Yes. Questions and solutions render with KaTeX, and printed maths can be imported through OCR to LaTeX.
Can I move my old Word papers in?
Yes. Import them with OCR, and a person reviews the result before it enters the bank.
