Rules applied

  • Guidelines for Registration and Regulation of Coaching Center 2024 (Ministry of Education)
  • Rajasthan Coaching Centres (Control and Regulation) Act 2025

The fee must not be raised during the course under these rules. Fix the fee before you issue the plan.

Rajasthan’s Act asks for at least four equal instalments; its start date is not confirmed, so the tool applies it to be safe.

How to plan fee instalments

  1. Enter the fee and the number of instalments

Type the fee after any discount and how many instalments you want. Add an up-front amount if the first payment is larger.

  2. Set the first due date and the gap

Pick the first due date and whether instalments fall every month, every two months or every three months.

  3. For coaching, add the state and the size of the centre

The coaching rules apply above a student count in certain states, so choose your state and enter the students.

  4. Read the plan and fix any flag

The table shows each due date and amount. If the plan breaks a rule, the tool says which one and offers a plan that passes.

How are the instalments worked out?

The fee is split into equal parts in paise. If it does not divide evenly, the earlier instalments carry the extra paise so the parts always add up to the exact fee. Due dates keep the day of the first date and fall back to the last day of a shorter month, so a plan starting on 31 January runs 31 Jan, 28 Feb, 31 Mar. An up-front amount is part of the total: it forms the first instalment and the rest is split evenly. The planner runs in your browser: nothing you type is sent to us.

How many instalments does a coaching centre in Rajasthan have to offer?

The Rajasthan Coaching Centres Act 2025 describes fees payable in at least four equal instalments for centres above 100 students. Whether the Act has started is unconfirmed as of Oct 2026, so the tool applies it to be safe.

Do instalments have to be exactly equal?

Where a rule asks for equal instalments, the tool allows a difference of up to ₹1 for leftover paise and flags anything larger. A large up-front payment makes the plan unequal.

Can a coaching centre raise the fee in the middle of a course?

The Ministry of Education Guidelines 2024 and the Rajasthan Act 2025 both describe no fee increase during a course. The tool shows this as a reminder when the packs apply.

Does this apply to schools?

No. These are coaching rules. School fee rules differ by state, for example Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh each have their own, so check your own state.

Can I charge GST on each instalment?

If your coaching fee is taxable, GST follows each receipt, and advances need a receipt voucher. Use the GST calculator and confirm with your CA.
