Acavya

How does Acavya handle visitors, child pickup and safety registers?

Acavya checks visitors with a photo and an OTP to the host, verifies authorised pickup by photo and OTP while enforcing custody restrictions, keeps a restricted incident register with evidence and a reporting log, and maintains CCTV, drill and compliance-document registers with expiry alerts.

Who is it for, and what hurts today?

  • Gatekeeper: a paper visitor book and no way to verify who is allowed to take a child.
  • Pre-primary teacher: a handover at dispersal with a stranger at the gate and a custody order in a file.
  • Principal: a call that says "release my child" in a voice that sounds like the parent, which is a real voice-cloning risk, and panic before inspections.
  • Owner: fire NOC, building safety and recognition expiry dates that nobody tracks.

What can it do?

  • Available now: Visitor management with photo, ID type (no Aadhaar copy is stored), an OTP to the host, badge printing and in and out times.
  • Available now: Gate passes for students and staff.
  • Available now: Authorised pickup: the photo and OTP are verified at the gate and custody restrictions are enforced. For phone calls asking to release a child there is a call-back rule.
  • Available now: A restricted incident register for safety, bullying, cyberbullying, deepfake or morphed images, injury, POCSO and POSH, with evidence preservation, a mandatory-reporting log (including police or SJPU reference for POCSO), parent communication and a counselling referral. Acavya uses no AI on POCSO case content.
  • Available now: A CCTV compliance register with cameras by location and an attestation of at least 15 days retention and backup checks. There is no video integration.
  • Available now: A safety drills log and compliance documents with expiry alerts: fire NOC, building safety, water, recognition, affiliation and coaching registration.
  • Available now: A grievance register with SLA timers (30 days for coaching).

How does it work?

How does Acavya handle visitors, child pickup and safety registers?

  1. Register visitors

Capture a photo, send an OTP to the host and print a badge.

  2. Verify pickup

The guard sees the authorised photo, the parent shows an OTP and the system checks custody rules.

  3. Log incidents

Record the incident, preserve evidence and note the reports made.

  4. Track expiries

Review the safety registers and renew documents before they lapse.

Does it work in Hindi, offline and on WhatsApp?

  • Guards use the main app in Hindi with big actions; OTPs go by WhatsApp or SMS.
  • Incident records are visible only to assigned roles, and every view is logged.
  • Parents can see authorised-pickup lists and receive an alert after pickup.

What can it not do?

  • Acavya does not replace the physical vigilance of a guard.
  • It does not file police or SJPU reports; it records them.
  • There is no CCTV video integration; the register is attestations only.
  • Retention and reporting rules vary; use the rule pack and confirm with your lawyer.

What happens if an unauthorised person tries to pick up a child?

The attempt is blocked and logged, and the guard is told to follow your escalation.

Is Aadhaar stored for visitors?

No. Only the ID type is recorded.

Who sees incident records?

Only the roles assigned to the case, and each view is logged.
