Acavya

How does Acavya handle student health records and counselling privately?

Acavya keeps encrypted health profiles with allergy alerts, a sick-room and medication log with parent notification, counselling case notes that only the counsellor can read, mental-health helplines on screen and an anonymised annual wellness report.

Who is it for, and what hurts today?

  • Nurse: allergies known to one teacher and a sick-room register in a notebook.
  • Counsellor: case notes in a shared cupboard and no way to keep them private from the office.
  • Principal: a Supreme Court direction on student mental health with a policy, counsellor directory and training log to maintain.
  • Parent: a child with an allergy, and a trip or canteen where no one checked.

What can it do?

  • Available now: Encrypted health profiles with allergies, conditions, medications and emergency contacts, and allergy alerts for the canteen, trips and the sick room.
  • Available now: Sick-room visits with parent notification, medication consent and a dose log, screening camps (BMI, vision, dental) and optional vaccination records.
  • Available now: Counselling case notes that are encrypted and visible only to the counsellor. Break-glass access needs a reason, is logged and alerts the principal. The owner and admin cannot read them without it.
  • Available now: Support for the Supreme Court Sukdeb Saha (July 2025) directions: a mental-health policy document, a counsellor directory (at least one trained counsellor where there are 100 or more students), helplines shown everywhere (Tele-MANAS 14416 and Childline 1098), a staff training log twice a year and an anonymised annual wellness report.
  • Available now: Wellbeing surveys (age-appropriate, with an anonymous option).
  • Available now: Early-warning flags from attendance drops, score crashes and missed submissions that go only to the counsellor or mentor. Coaching tenants must opt in.

What does the AI do here, and who approves it?

  • Early-warning flags are signals for human review only. They are never shown to the student and never trigger automatic action, and coaching tenants opt in with consent.
  • No AI reads counselling case notes or POCSO case content.

How does it work?

How does Acavya handle student health records and counselling privately?

  1. Record

Add the health profile and emergency contacts with consent.

  2. Alert

Allergy alerts appear at the canteen, on trips and in the sick room.

  3. Counsel

Write notes that stay private to the counsellor.

  4. Report

Produce the anonymised annual wellness report.

Does it work in Hindi, offline and on WhatsApp?

  • Parents get sick-room and medication notices on WhatsApp in Hindi or English.
  • Helpline numbers are shown in the app and on web screens.

What can it not do?

  • Acavya is not a clinical record system or a diagnosis tool.
  • Early-warning flags can be wrong; they are for a trained person to judge.
  • The Supreme Court support is a tooling aid; your legal duties are yours, so confirm with your lawyer.

Can the owner read counselling notes?

No. Without break-glass access that is logged and alerts the principal, no one but the counsellor can read them.

Is health data encrypted?

Yes, health profiles and counselling notes are encrypted.

Does AI judge my students?

No. Early-warning signals go to a counsellor for review and nothing automatic happens.
