- Staff receive payslips on the app; salary-date reminders can go on WhatsApp.
- Payroll runs on our servers, so it needs a connection, while staff attendance can be captured offline.
What can it not do?
- Acavya calculates and exports; it does not file PF, ESI or TDS returns for you. Your CA or payroll consultant files them.
- Statutory rules, state professional-tax slabs and the new Income-tax Act forms are rule packs marked verify until checked by your CA. Payroll golden tests with external data are pending.
- Police verification certificates are issued by the police; Acavya tracks and gates on them.
- Salary structures and state settings must be set up before the first payroll run, so plan the switch for the start of a month.
