Acavya

What does a school need from an ERP, and what does Acavya take over?

A school on any board needs a fee counter that never stops, fast attendance, report cards, timetables and parent communication in Hindi and English, and Acavya covers all of it, with exams included, at one flat price, with the repetitive paperwork removed and the decisions left to your people.

Which Acavya modules matter most here?

What would it cost?

A 600-student school is on the Pro plan and pays ₹14,999 a year before GST, which is ₹17,698.82 with 18% GST. Every feature is included, with unlimited staff and parent users and a full data export.

Messaging is charged at cost + up to 10% handling, or 0% markup if the institute connects its own WhatsApp Business account. Try the pricing calculator with your own numbers.

What is the compliance angle?

  • Student data and parental consent: the compliance centre covers the DPDP notice, consent capture, rights requests and data export. See DPDP readiness.
  • Records the school must keep: attendance in the board format, the 75 percent tracker, safety registers and RTE seat records, depending on your board and state.
  • Government portals such as UDISE+, APAAR and CBSE have no public API for private software, so Acavya gives you the exact export or a checklist and your office uploads it.
  • School education fees are treated as exempt and coaching fees as taxable in the fee rule, which is configurable and should be confirmed with your CA.

Will it work during power cuts and on slow internet?

The fee counter, attendance and marks entry work offline and sync later. Some jobs such as the timetable generator and rollover run on the server and need a connection.

Can we switch mid-year?

Yes. The import wizard supports a go-live date, opening fee balances, advances and past receipts, and shows control totals to match your old system. See switching mid-year.

Is there a free plan?

Not for a school of this size. The Free plan is for tutors with up to 30 students; schools get a 30-day free trial and then one flat yearly price that covers every feature.

Do teachers have to handle fees?

No. Teachers never handle fees in Acavya, and fee chasing is done through reminders and the accounts office.

Which boards and curricula does it support?

CBSE, ICSE, state boards, IB, Cambridge or your own curriculum: you choose the board when you set up classes and subjects. Report cards come from grading rule packs you configure, with the CBSE and HPC formats built in, and the TC prints in the CBSE format or a general state format.

Can a school outside India use Acavya?

Yes. A school abroad can use Acavya in English today, with fees in Indian rupees and times in Indian Standard Time.
