What apps does Acavya have for parents, teachers and the office?
Acavya gives parents, students, teachers and staff one Android app that shows your institute name and logo first, runs on any phone or office PC as an installable offline web app (PWA) and gives bus attendants a separate driver app, while the iOS App Store listing and a Windows desktop app are planned.

Who is it for, and what hurts today?
- Parent: a different app per child and phone storage full. One login covers all children across school and coaching, and the app is optional.
- Teacher: attendance and marks that must work with a weak signal on a low-cost phone.
- Fee clerk: a counter that needs a receipt printer, a barcode scanner and books that reach Tally without retyping.
- Coaching owner: parents who should see your brand and not ours. The institute name and logo come first and "Powered by" is off by default.

- Available now: One main Android app with the institute name and logo first, phone OTP login and switchers for institute, child and role.
- Available now: Parent screens: home feed, attendance, homework, timetable, marks and report cards, fees and payment with receipts, live classes and recordings, tests, circulars with audio, chat, PTM booking, leave applications, consent forms and certificate requests.
- Available now: Student screens for ages 13 and above: timetable, homework submission, live classes, tests, doubts, materials and results.
- Available now: Teacher and staff screens: offline attendance and marks, homework, class log, timetable and substitutions, leave, chat and live-class hosting.
- Available now: A separate small driver and attendant app, bus tracking in the parent app, payslips for staff and a guard flow for visitor and pickup verification.

Start with the PWA
Open the web app on a phone or PC and install it to the home screen.
Use WhatsApp for parents
Parents receive notices and receipts on WhatsApp with no install.
Add the Android app
Install the Android app and sign in with your phone OTP.
Set up the counter PC
Install the web app on the fee-counter PC; a barcode scanner that acts as a keyboard works with it.
Does it work in Hindi, offline and on WhatsApp?
- Hindi and English throughout and a TalkBack-accessible app.
- Android 8 and above, with an app size target of 30 MB or less, no third-party trackers and no ads.
- For the planned iOS listing, fees for online or live classes are shown read-only and paid through the institute link outside the app, because of Apple in-app purchase rules, which we verify at submission.
- A 10-year-old office PC can run the PWA in its last supported browser.
What can it not do?
- The iOS app is not on the App Store yet, so iPhone users use the installable web app until it is listed.
- There is no Windows desktop app yet, so silent printing and the live Tally and biometric bridges are not available; Tally export files come from the web app.
- App-store approvals and Apple and Google organisation accounts take time and are outside our control.
- The driver app asks for background location; for that reason it is a separate app.
Do parents have to install an app?
No. WhatsApp is the main channel and the app is optional.
Will my parents see your brand?
They see your institute name and logo first. "Powered by" is off by default.
Does the app work offline?
Attendance and marks can be entered offline by teachers and sync later, and the fee counter works offline for cash and cheque.
Is there a desktop app?
Not yet. A Windows desktop app is planned; today the fee counter runs as the installable web app on any office PC.
