Acavya

Is Acavya too big for a small tuition centre?

Acavya is not too big for a small tuition centre because the Free plan covers up to 30 students at no cost, and larger centres pay one flat price with every feature included, so a home tutor can use only fees, attendance, test marks and WhatsApp updates without paying for the rest.

What does a day look like before and after Acavya?

A tuition owner who teaches, collects the fees and answers parents, with 40 students in morning and evening batches. The work is small but it never stops.

A day in the life: before and with Acavya
MomentBefore (typical today)With Acavya
Collecting feesFees are tracked in a notebook and parents say they have already paid. Each student has a fee record, a payment link or static UPI with UTR, and a numbered receipt on WhatsApp.
RemindersYou call parents one by one and feel awkward.A reminder cadence from polite to firm goes on WhatsApp in the parent language, respecting quiet hours.
AttendanceA paper register that nobody totals.A tap for absentees, an absence alert to the parent and a monthly summary.
Weekly testMarks go in a notebook and parents ask how the child did.Marks entered once, a simple report and a parent message with the score.
Batches changeA student shifts batch and the fee record gets confusing.Transfers carry fees and history with the student.
GrowingMore students mean a second notebook. The same system scales to hundreds of students and to tests, OMR and faculty payouts when you need them.

Which Acavya modules matter most here?

What would it cost?

A home tutor with 25 students is on the Free plan and pays ₹0, with no card needed. The Free plan covers attendance, fees and receipts, homework, online tests and the parent app for up to 30 students in 1 branch.

A 40-student centre is on the Starter plan at ₹4,999 a year before GST, or ₹499 a month, and an 80-student centre pays the same, with every feature included. There are no add-on modules and no commission on fees.

What is the compliance angle?

  • Children under 18 need verifiable parental consent for their data; Acavya captures a notice and consent, and you should not collect more than you need.
  • Whether coaching rules apply to you depends on your state and your size. Rules differ by state, so check with a local adviser.
  • If you charge GST-liable coaching fees, Acavya can raise GST invoices from a configurable rule that your CA must confirm.
  • Do not promise ranks or selection in messages; Acavya will not do so for you.

What is the smallest bill?

Nothing: the Free plan covers up to 30 students. Above 30 and up to 150 students, the yearly price is ₹4,999 before GST.
